Are you looking for something to read? You can read a book or listen to an audiobook on your phone, tablet, or computer.

 

  • On an iOS or Android device, download the app called Libby (see below). Sign in to your Nashville Public Library account. 

  • On a computer, visit 615.library.nashville.org and search for the name of a book, an author, or a subject. Click "eBooks" or "audiobooks" at the top to see what is available.

Remember, your Nashville Public Library card number is your 9-digit student ID number (190...) and your PIN is your 4-digit birthday with the month and day only (MMDD).

Testing & Education Reference Center (TERC) has lots of awesome academic materials - all totally free for you! You do need to create an account using your school e-mail, but once you do that, you can:

  • Prepare for the ACT or SAT (including full practice tests and study material)

  • Prepare for AP tests

  • Get general practice materials for English/Math courses

  • Look for colleges and/or scholarships

  • Build a resume

  • ...and more!

Learn a new language (or practice one you're already learning) with these free online tools - Transparent Language and Duolingo! Both require you to sign up for an account with your school e-mail, but they are totally free. Click on the buttons above to access!

Lynda.com has tons of helpful videos and training courses to teach you new skills - from learning to play an instrument to learning a new technology skill or software! You will have to create an account to save your progress, but access is free to any MNPS student through our partnership with Nashville Public Library.
